Dear Students,

Please be informed, that according to Medical University of Silesia in Katowice Rector’s Ordinance no. 42/2020 as of 11 March, 2020 regarding counteraction to SARS-COV-2 virus spreading among the members of Medical University of Silesia in Katowice community as of 11 March, 2020 from 10.00 am until 29 March, 20200 – all didactic classes for students and PhD students are suspended.

Having regard to the Resolution No. 42/2020 of March 11, 2020 of the Rector of the SUM, classes from General Polish Language Course can’t be conducted intramullary at the University.

Nevertheless, the University  along with the Organiser of the course has made a decision to keep up online classes for some groups by Skype accordingly with the existing schedule starting from March 16, 2020.

The above regards groups No. 1 „O”, 2 „O”, 3 „O”, 4 „O” from General Polish Language Course and groups No. 1 „L”, 2 „L” from Professional Polish Language Course.

Classes from General Polish Language Course for groups No. 1 „E”, 2 „E” are suspended at the moment. The suspension will last until March 29, 2020.

Classes conducted online will last until it’s canceling according to the given Resolution (classes are suspended until March 29 2020, although it may be prolonged).

All students will be informed by mail about any changes of the type of classes.

In case of problems with the access to the online classes, student will receive from the teacher course materials by mail.
